Google Docs Now Editable On iPhone

Google has just announced a new version for the Google Docs Mobile, which can be used to edit Google documents anywhere and anytime. Users with smartphones running on the Android Froyo and any Apple device running on iOS 3.0 or higher can also now use this new support facility. This includes iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch with iOS 3.0 or higher.
In addition to this, Google has also spruced up its app’s user interface in a bid to make the editing process easier and smoother while on the go. For Android viewers, it also comes with a voice recognition feature that can be used to input text if typing is not possible. Even Excel spreadsheets can be edited using this software.

The product is expected to be released in a couple of days. Currently, it will be available only in English. Google has assured though that support for other languages will also be added soon.
All you need to do is point a compatible device to the docs.google.com website. Simply press Edit to start editing a document or create a new one to start from scratch. For new users who haven’t used an earlier version of Google Docs, Google has put up a demonstration video that gives a fair idea of the kind of user interface to expect.
